Connexions Hub Services in Tyne and Wear have identified a significant Adult Funding Budget through our partnership with Talent Training, a North East based Workforce Development company.
Talent Training has Government funding to enable the design and delivery of high-impact accredited training leading to Connexions, local authority and partner agency staff being qualified to a nationally recognised standard.

Skills For Life
The Tyne and Wear Assessment and Training Centre are working in partnership with Sunderland City Council to deliver free adult literacy and numeracy qualifications.
If you're aged 19+, living/working in Sunderland and it's more than three years since you gained a formal qualification in maths and English, you could update your skills in numeracy and literacy and gain a recognised qualification.

The Tyne and Wear Assessment and Training Centre is the largest provider of professional development opportunities in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) in North East England. We specialise in supporting professional development for organisations requiring Qualification Curriculum Authority (QCA) accreditation.
The Tyne and Wear Assessment and Training Centre is part of Connexions Hub Services in Tyne and Wear - a provider of support services to the five local councils:
- Gateshead
- Newcastle upon Tyne
- North Tyneside
- South Tyneside
- Sunderland
We have a proven expertise in the provision of careers education, information, advice and guidance and other training to a range of clients including local authorities, schools, colleges and private sector organisations.
